Hey guys,
Like the subject says, the computer just randomly blacks out, screen gets no output, no bsod, no nothing, and the optical mouse goes dead(no power), keyboard is frozen.
I initially thought this had something to do with the powersupply so i switched that out for a more powerful unit but it's still doing the same thing. Any ideas?

System specs:
Abit VH6T
P3 1GHZ
Voodoo3 2000 PCI
512MB PC133
IBM 30GB 75GXP
Quantum 9.1GB Fireball KA
Sony 8/4/32
Windows ME

If you're overclocking then you might try slowing things down a bit. Also check system temps with MBM5 or a similar program.

not to sound silly.. but... yer sure everything is plugged in nice? 😀 power, other connections? 😀 make sure yer video card is seated real nice..screw it into place if necessary... and does the pc reboot when you do this? or just lose video/power? if it reboots.. make sure theres no metal/loose screws on the motherboard causing it to short

Thnx for replying guys

No overclocking.
Went over connections and seating of cards many many many times. Everythign is screwed in.
Like i said b4, the screen goes black and the usb mouse loses power.

I just did a full format and got rid of win ME.
I have win2000 installed now and I get freezes....hmmmm.
