please help me i deleted my sound

Need to be a bit more specific about what you did when the sound went off.

You said you were burning, but that would have no effect on the sound. Did you install the burning program then the sound went out?
 
I think he means that he add/removed his SoundMax drivers. You will have to go to the maker of you computer (Is it a Compaq?) and download the driver again. Or get the numbers from the card and go to a place like driverguide and find the right driver for your card.

If you can find the pertinent numbers on your card but can't find the drivers, I will help. Just post all the part numbers you can find on the card. If its onboard sound, you will find a chip on the motherboard with ADI on it (I think). Just copy the numbers from under the name. (I.E. ADI 1881)
