I feel so stupid. Would someone help me start cracking. Just installed the clients. Insert my e-mail. Now what Am I suppose to do next thanks.

.paldo,

Paulson (Yes, Paulson!) has an excellant starter course on RC5 and how to set up the client...Even has many screen shots and tutorials:

http://www.originpoint.com/paulsonrc5/ .

Assuming you are cracking RC5, then you need to set your

9) Load-work precedence ==> RC5,CSC=0,OGR=0,DES=0

As shown here to avoid cracking OGR. Paulson's guide is very good. It should direct you to any answers that you need..After looking it over, I'll (We'll!!) be happy to answer any questions that he may have not answered or to clear up any issues...

Welcome to TeamAnandtech.....You'll be hooked on stats in no time😉

😀

OK I've set everything per Paulson's directions. Now when I start the clients I think it's cracking OGR instead of RC5. How do I change it?

In your dnetc.ini file, add the following line:

[misc]
project-priority=RC5,OGR=0,DES=0,CSC=0

Then restart the client.

Welcome aboard...Remember, once you submit your first block, you must wait 24 hours, go to D.net and request your password...Once you recieve you password, you can then join...All in Paulson's guide🙂

Welcome to TA😀

Welcome to the team .paldo🙂nice to have another Iowan aboard,actually considering the size of this state there are a lot of us.:Q

Thanks guys. One last questions. I'm cracking 1.82 Mkeys/s. on a PIII-666 right now. does that sound right? I will bump it back up to 750 Mhz once I get my my G400 back since my sh!tty RAGE Fury cards can't handle higher bus speeds.
