Please help me get rid of this!

I have this "Search Lop.com" Macromedia Flash thing that pops up every time I turn on or turn off my computer and i can't figure out how to get rid of it. I tried doing the add/remove programs, but it's not there, so i deleted all of my internet content, including downloaded internet programs, and it's still there.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this thing? It's like a search companion, if you need to see it, ask and i'll send you a screen shot. This thing is driving me nuts.

Thanks.

Have you tried looking under the Startup tab in MSConfig? Also, you might do a search under Find Files and Folders with that file name to see what comes up.

this thread explained how to get rid of the stupid lop.com thingy....

things are going out of hand with all these stupid spywares installing softwares like they own our computers... just goes to prove that those new features for website enhancements can backfire to our browsing experience.... sometimes i wish those activex and whatnot never get created.. .but then again, maybe msie shouldn't be too tied up to windows and do not allow certain files to be installed without permission .... (didn't mean to say netscape won't allow that or start a browser war, but it seems like things are easier to do with msie than netscape)

oh well, anyways....
