Please help me get HD working on my 2405

I did, its unhooked now, (see post 12 above, its the dvr from the living room not here in the bedroom) Im referring to DVI just through PC now.

Ah. Well, I don't really know what to tell you...I can still get to my Image Settings menu right now (and my video card's connected to the monitor via DVI)...everything's greyed out except for Scaling, which I can still access...I don't have any experience with the 2405FPW and I'm surprised if it's different in that way, sorry if I can't be of more help. :)

All I know is that a lot of the settings are greyed out when the input is set to DVI, because with a digital connection to the monitor you use the graphics adapter's settings to control that stuff. Using component you should be able to access those settings.

Key to image quality with the 2405 is back off the brightness and gamma. I have my brightness pretty low, and the gamma set to .8.
