Hello all.
My system has been horribly unstable lately, with the following symptoms:
-System will reboot itself in most 3d games, soon after if not immediately after starting the game.
or
-More common, the monitor will report that there is no video signal present, though I can still hear the game going on in the background.
Now, I took the cover off my case, and it seems that the problems have gone away. My BH6 allows only for measuring MB temp, which HmonitorPro shows at 88-90deg F, which seems reasonable enough, given that I'm in Southern California in the summer. So I'm not sure what's causing the problem, my Geforce2 overheating or my cpu?
In addition to the PS exhaust, I have another 80mm fan circulating air over the cpu/video card, an 80mm fan as an intake on the bottom, and a Radio Shack blower as an exhaust up top...
Any ideas? Thanks!
Here's my system:
CuMine566->850 w/ Golden Orb (1.75v)
Abit BH6
Corsair PC100 128mb
Elsa Gladiac Geforce2 GTS (not o/c'd)
Bunch of stuff like HD's, CDROM, MX300,SCSI Card, etc...
Antec 300Watt PS
Enlight 7237
