Which of these would you choose based on overall value and price:
Kingston 512MB DDR333 PC2700 Memory Retail for $125
Corsair 512MB DDR333 PC2700 64Mx64 184 DIMM Unbuffered CAS2.5 32Mx8 for $145
Samsung IC Chipset 512MB DDR333 PC2700 Memory for $125
2 Sticks of 256MB Micron DDR PC2700 ? Non-parity ? 6ns ? 2.5V ? 32Meg x 64 for $140

By the way the rest of my specs are:
Albatron KX400+ Pro mobo
Athlon 2000+ CPU
Western Digital 40GB 7200 RPM hdd
Geforce4 Ti4200 128MB
Lite-On 40x12x48 CDRW

Please give me your advice.

Can anyone recommend a good place to pick up Samsung mem? I'm a little worried about getting the '3rd party' repackaged stuff.

I found this price for the 512MB of Samsung at googlegear. I'm pretty sure it's the real thing and not some 3rd party stuff. Does anybody else have any other suggestions because I have to make my decision soon. BTW, thanks to all who have posted already.

So what you're saying is stay away from googlegear's Samsung because its not the real thing? Also, what does IIRC mean? I'm leaning towards the Kingston now because of the price. I'm already overbudget so is it really worth it to shell out the extra dough to get the Corsair. Keep in mind that I will be doing no overclocking.

I would suggest Crucial over any of those. Crucial uses Micron chips; however, they implement those chips onto 6-layer PCBs. In addition, they provide 2nd day shipping for free. Also, they offer a lifetime warranty. I use Crucial, and I am very happy with them. If you have to go with one of those manufactures, then I would suggest Samsung. Samsung knows their memory. If I am not mistaken, Corsair uses handpicked Samsung chips for their XMS memory.
