Getting a q9450

Intend to Overclock
Going on Air w/Thermalright True Copper ^_^

Try to keep this under 100 if AT ALL possible, but the overclocking ability takes weight. over price

Oh, and preferably 8 GIG of ddr2 of some sort

SLI not needed. but if by coincidence, then sure.

The Core 2 Quad/nVidia chipset are not generally the best combo for OCing, look for an Intel chip board.

It has decent specs and a 69% approval rating isn't that bad, I'll let someone who personally own the board do the vouching. Haters......a person may not know what their doing and that can be the reason they're having problems. On the other hand what if they are right.

Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R or UD3P (has crossfire) are probably the best in OC'ing C2Qs right now. 500FSB is very common (but not guaranteed!) with this board. The UD3R is around $120, the UD3P is maybe ~$20 more.

I'm currently running 8GB of ram at 450FSB, no sweat.
