i have an asus cusl2-c mobo an a pIII 1100 mhz (100 mhz FSB) cumine CPU...

in fact i didn't noticed 100 mhz FsB for months bcz i didn't know much things a few months before... i didn't prepared my computer myself.

so i gived the list to the salesman. on the list -a friend of mine adviced the specs- there was pIII 1000 mhz 133FSB and TUSL2-C mobo.

well, when the salesman gaved me a cus and 1100 with 100 FSB. when i noticed this, i phoned to him immediately( for about 4 months i ,

wasn't aware that he gave me these)...when he heard this, he accepted to give me 1000 mhz with 133 FSB pIII. but he couldn't be able

to find 1000 mhz cumines ( i live in Turkey)so he will now probably give me a tualatin.

these are the questions...

1- do TUSL2-Cs have both tualatin and cumine support or are there 2 different versions,1 is cumine and the other is tualatin???

2- what's the difference between fc-pga, fc-pga tualatin and fc-pga2 form factors???

3- are there 1000 mhz tualatins??? if there is not what's 1 A ghz??? here is the

link

of pIIIs...

4- will that 1 A ghz work in tusl2-c???

5- do all tualatins have a metal piece on the chip??? and so 1 A ghz???

6- does "tA1 stepped" mean tualatin?

thats all...(at least for now 🙂) thank you guys... all answers will be appreciated... and sorry for my English...

1. The TUSL2-C supports for Coppermines and Tualatins.

2. There is no difference between FC-PGA and FC-PGA2 except for the heatspreader over the top. FC-PGA2 Tualatin has a different pin definition, so you must have a Tualatin capable board.

3. 100MHz Tualatins are all Celerons.

4. Yes

5. Yes, it's a heat spreader.

6 Yes
