Dell is known for using proprietary motherboards these days, and that's straight from their own mouths. I doubt you are going to have much success with OC'ing it. On the bright side, 2.66GHz is pretty fast already :)

The chipset is a i850 but I have no idea who manufatures it. I DO know they use proprietary motherboards so that a standard ATX power connecter will not work. AFAIK, you can't overclock a dell. The multipliers and bus speeds seem to be somehow programmed directly onto the MB with no way for a user to access them. I guess this is because a novice wouldn't have any idea what to do with that stuff if they were forced to upgrade their BIOS.

Actually the ATX connector on the 8200 is the same as the standard ATX connector on every other ps. I work on these for a living, but the installation methods they use do limit the case to using thier mobo's only as they use a slider grounded mechanism patented by dell, and only one screw to hold the mobo in place. But Dell does a lot of work to make sure you can't oc the proc or up the voltages on their mobo's, and since some unkown taiwanese company somewhere puts out the designs you can't just flash the bios to get the options you're looking for. If you want an entusiast system you gotta build it yourself or hire someone to do it for you. Top tier manufacturers seldom sell to the enthusiast crowd. And sure don't want users jacking with tweaks to burn a proc they will have to replace while it's under warranty. sorry for your bad luck, but at least it's a fairly quick system for the buck.

All Dell mainboards are actually Intel mainboards, but modified for Dell's requirements (meaning a different pinout on the power connector). That board is a modified Intel D850EMV2 or D850EMD2. There is nothing you can do in the way of overclocking.
