Please help- how do I install codec drivers?

I got the K7S5A and the sound is so low. When I play DVD I can barely hear it at all. I am finding it hard to believe that this is JUST how it is for this board. There has to be something wrong. I cant imagine that ECS would use this Onboard sound C-Media when the output is so low.

I have a really good sourround sound amplified speaker systeem- so I know its not the speakers.

ECS has these code sound drivers on there web site - but I dont know how to update this.

PLease help. Thank you!!
 
Are you sure you have all the appropriate volume sliders turned up? I know it's a dumb question, but yeah .. a possibility. I don't have that board though so otherwise I can't really help you.
