OK, here's the deal: I needed to bring some improtant files with me from school to home so I could work on them. I used Nero 5 to create a an ISO CD and just draged, dropped, and burned the files I needed.
In hindsight, I should have checked the CDs before I left, but I didn't (d'oh!) So when I get home, I pop the CDs into the computer drives and for some reason, these 'data' CDs are being recognized as audio CDs. When I check them with explorer, they show one audio track that's 1kb in size. There are no other files, however when I right click on the drive, it says that the CD has the right amount of used space (37 MB). I cannot seem to gain access to these files, I've tried several differnet drives and even tried recovering them in DOS. Most of the time, I just get a read error.
I'm assuming it's the way I burned the disc, which is weird because I've done this type of thing lots of times before. So, can someone tell me what I did wrong? I thought I had everything right. Also, I think I'm beyond hope, but if you could tell me how to recover these files I would really appreciate it. I just want to try to find out what I did wrong so I don't make this mistake again.
Thanks.
