Ok so i'm trying to install redhat linux 7.0 and it gives the option to automatically partition. It says that it will erase all data on all existing linux partitions. Does this mean that i will lose everything on my windows partition or is it exclusive to linux partitions(there are none yet)

Thanks in advance,
Moose

Actually you won't be using fdisk to partion unless you choose that, you should use disk druid, its not hard to do either, its all graphical and pretty hehe 🙂

Use the disk druid feature to create the partitions. You can also use it to set the mount points for your windows partition.

Disk Druid is pretty easy to use. You should be able to handle it. I personally just use Partition Magic though and setup all my partitions before starting the install. If you are willing to get that then it's the way to go but if not as I said Disk Druid works well enough.
