Please explain this to me. Medicare

You have to distinguish between several types. Many conservatives are consistent in that they are opposed to medicare. However some teabagger types are too stupid to see the inconsistency.

meh you do know that people have been fighting about medicare before teaparty?

medicare is a mess. they stole all the money and now are trying to replace it.

SS is another mess. they did the same damn thing. we put in tons of money into it and odds are won't get it back.

The problem with them is they didn't count on everyone living so long. The idea was most would probably only see 2-3 years of it.

The real reason why government types want medicare is not because they care about human beings, but because they want to control huge sums of money and make the public into slaves. More government healthcare is just a way to raise more taxes. It is the control of the money that they seek.

Beware of the trojan horse with the worshippers of Carl Marx inside. The goal of any socialist or communist is control of the government and the subjection of the common man to little more than common serfs.

as a conservative, i am against medicare. I am against obamacare. I am against social security.

If i could opt out of this crap i would in an instant. These programs are the biggest reasons for the financial mess this nation is in, and whether or not we can recover from it i am not too certain.


Its unfair to force people to pay into medicare/social security and then crucify them for recieving the benefits for it later in life, no matter what their political stance is. I better as hell be getting a social security check when i retire since i am being forced into paying for it against my will. Now if they would offer me a choice to opt out, giving me a refund of what i have paid into these programs so far, i would in an instant.

yeah...I think government is where 'cashflow is king' came from.

What most people don't know and why this national health care is so scary to me is that our government has one cash pool and nothing in it runs at a profit. Today's healthcare is profitable, but still fighting to stay afloat.

To run at a loss or break even means our service has to suffer.

The poor and those now out of work with no option are going to make this happen. It's a very strategic move by our 'Founding Fathers'.

It's sad how we fucked up our country.
