I have a Asus P4T533 and one stick of 256mb samsung memory. If I add another, do I get dual channel performance? Or do I already have it?
 
With 32bit ram (RIMM4200) you get the effects of duel channel memory with 1 stick. If you add a second it will not increase your bandwidth performance but it will increase system performance. If you play games and what not i would recomend another 256 of ram if your looking for an upgrade.
 
Yeah, I'm noticing that my OS and other programs are using a lot of memory. I need at least another 265mb. $76.00 at newegg seems like a good deal. Thanks
