Yes, it has - quite some time ago - and several young people have died due to some metabolic condition they had and drinking too much of the stuff.

Eeeek... That sucks. You can always tell when it is time for finals or other major test times, because the energy drinks will be sold out everywhere. It's so funny living in a college town.

zzzzz ... What's that?? Energy drink you say. I like 'em, but they make me manic.
 
I think that those energy drinks really increase energy levels - probably due to the combo of coffeine and sugars - which makes quite a few people seemingly manic. Mania and other mental illnesses are definitively no laughing matter ...

I usually have one when I first get to work. Normally I wouldn't have to, but the fact that I work in dispatch, and I have to be on the ball right when I get to work. I wake up slowly, and I can't afford to wait the 2 hours it normally takes...

Woohoo. RAM was ordered for my machine tonight. Hopefully it will be here Friday. I hope this stuff works. *crosses fingers*
 
I was cruising FS/T today, looking for something, and I came upon this thread. Lots of basic machines, pretty much barebones, and all for really cheap... Just thought I'd put this out for anyone looking for some extra little crunchers...
