No, no, no - I think he meant sick in winter ... like the winter-puking-virus-disease ... (a.k.a. Noro virus gastroenteritis): you through up and have a diarrhea. 🙁
 
I was "sick in winter" earlier this year... Fortunately, now I'm only "sick of winter" as in very annoyed at the slippery ice-covered sidewalks and ready for the temperature to reach greater-than-50F levels regularly.

In Puerto Rico, everyone believes that the air conditioning uses too much electricity. So instead, they just install about twenty 36" fans & pretend not to notice the blinking lights & all the invisible aircraft taking off. 🙂
