While you're fixing your mistakes that others have pointed out, you might want to fix the topic summary. I think you're looking for a different word than debunked, but I don't know what word it is.

p.s. of all the words I type fairly regularly, this word: "ebarrising" is one of the ones I always have trouble spelling correctly... I can never remember if it has 2 r's in a row or 2 s's in a row... or both.

Embarrassing? ;)

Ironicly, it's the OP's work that's being debunked.

*sigh*, I suppose my tone was a bit strong. However, I found Dullard's post to be FAR from trolling. He asked people to find errors and immediately went on the offensive, calling them trolls, after they pointed out some of the errors. Had I been on my computer at work (I don't have Word on this computer), I probably would have done him a favor and typed the whole thing up for him - correcting the errors - and published the document for him to download. Heck, he could even have taken credit for it as far as I'm concerned... I'd have just served as a secretary. (Typing math sucks! I spend 8 hours typing my pre-calculus final exam.) Unfortunately, I don't have a LaTeX editor, so I'm stuck with the equation editor in word :( Anyone know of a good free LaTeX program??

To the OP: relax a bit. You shouldn't feel like people are being critical of you when they point out your mistakes. It's called constructive feedback. If instead of calling them trolls, you had replied: "Thanks! I'll change those right away. I was tired when I wrote that  " then you wouldn't have received a bit of flack from anyone. However, you started the flame war (make that flame minor skirmish) - if you call people trolls here who don't deserve to be called trolls, be prepared for the collective ATOT community to try to put you in your place. Never attack people trying to be helpful; I don't see how you found Dullard's first post to be anything but helpful.

Hey, check out the emoticons that are available... "embarrasment" is spelled incorrectly. I was being sincere that I thought it was a hard word to remember to spell correctly. (Although, I'm sure my comment won't be seen that way.)

I think I had miktex or something like that on my computer before.
Right now I use eclipse and the latex plug-in. but that's only because I have a fetish for eclipse.

sorry.. edited twice already.
but I have miktex as the latex compiler and I use the eclipse plugin for editing.

This is what happenes when you try to help. You get called names by people who dont even know what you look like. I supose a retard would be someone waisting their time to even reply with such an ignorant remark. The responsible thing to have done to begin with is to send it as a PM to avoid embarrisment. Apon receiving the PM the article would of been edited as fast as possible but something different happenes. People have the nature of trying to show off for the public to see.

hahah Howard (Lifer Title) Spends his whole life on this thread. Shows the location of his life on the totum pole if you know what I mean. I supose calling trolls trolls makes me retarded, despite my rather high GPA. Easy to say the word retard to a complete stanger.

Did I spell a few words incorectly, I am sorry I was unaware this was such a formal occasion, gosh some of you people are F!@#$% morons. I am close to just deleting my profile, why be a part of such a hatefull and nerdy group.

My very first post in offense was because of the nature which the response was written. It was not sincere at all, I found it rude and offensive. If we were able to work it out and perhaps appologize to each other before the whole damn site started saying every word in the book. We may have worked it out.

If I need to grow up, why are you waisting your time judging me to begin with. I think you need to point your finger towards a mirror and realize that if your not perfect, you should not judge others.

That's funny, considering you you're judging others in this thread and calling them "fvcking trolls" and "fvcking morons."

Hypocrite FTW.

Two things to say on this:

First, to the people being harsh, he worked to make a resource that everyone could look at and (hopefully) use. So, don't be jerks about it and make fun of his mistakes.

To the author, loosen up.

Ok Ok Ok, they trolled. I did not know what else to call em, I am sorry.

Thanks CarlKillerMiller. I felt that my reaction was a little tite, its just that I was so excited that I could actually help someone with math (Took me 2 years to fully get factoring, I have ADHD). When I tryed to finally help someone else, all I got was criticism and trolls. It made me angry, I would think sensible people would see that and would try to reasure me that it was not meant that way, withought use of offensive words.

Oh noes! The loss will destroy ATOT!

PS: You misspelled "incorrectly" and "hateful." Also, you should work on your punctuation.

Judging from his writing/flaming style, I am guessing that he is between the ages of ten and twenty.

Pfft, the people here weren't mean to you at all until you started getting offended by people correcting your errors. You might as well just cancel your internet connection because you obviously don't belong here.

OP, I feel that you're overreacting. People definitely weren't trolling until you started it.
