Yeah, and 2-3 months could be a lot less than a cancellation fee so keep that in mind. I'd use that for leverage though. "Our contract is up in 2-3 months and we're willing to renew with you if you can help us out with this and suspend billing for a month or two until we're rebuilt." if the ISP isn't willing to work it out for you, let them know that you won't renew with them.
they'd be fools not to make some kind of exception for you especially with a renewal coming up so soon.
