So, if you knew all this stuff going on for years, whay wait til now?
Because tax evasion and fraud against the federal government doesn't (seriously) hurt anybody. Getting your likely mentally impaired stepfather to cut you and your siblings out of your inheritance is hurting somebody.

The inheritance, to my mind, is not the issue--the guy is stealing everything from his dad's wife (Brutuskend's mom) and leaving her with nothing.

Yeah, sorry, somehow I forgot that the a-hole stole the mom's accounts too.

Some more information I just found out. Back in the 70's when Doug was arrested, his brother GREG was involved as well but Doug took the fall.

Also, I am VERY impressed with the F.B.I.

I sent a copy of this letter to the Washington D.C. F.B.I. office and there was a agent on the phone to me with in 5 minutes of it being sent!

Unfortunately, with out hard evidence of his criminal activities they said there was nothing they could do.

They did suggest reporting this to local authorities (Which I'm doing) as well as the I.R.S. (Which I am also in the process of doing). Copies have also been sent to the Alaska attorney General, the Oregon Attorney General, as well as the DMV for both states. And I learned that another reason he has claimed that he lives in Oregon is that he lost his Alaska drivers license!

And another update. My step father is now trying to devoice my mother and take the house which is in her name. :(

So now he's trying to take the roof over her head too?

I can't post what I'd do in your situation.

I don't have much of a life, and I DO have a gun, so the thought HAS crossed my mind...

Not worth it. Especially when I'm sure someone here has at least one morally ambiguous friend in Alaska.

Ahh...next to the Body Piercing shop on Benson. :D

Will do (not that I go tanning, but if I start up again I won't go there). I'll get my friends to boycott it too. Sadly, it's one of the nicer and more popular tanning salons; with one of the most ridiculous "super-hero" radio commercials I've ever heard.

I've been trying to find the web page for it to no avail.

Do you have any way to get it for me?

I'd just take out the references to "Somewhere" "Some time"... Makes it sound like you don't know exactly what you're talking about...

sinking it in a lake somewhere out side of Anchorage. --> sinking it in a lake outside of Anchorage.
Sometime in 1975 Doug was arrested --> In 1975 Doug was arrested
He stole a boat someplace in Alaska and had it crated up and shipped to Seattle, --> He stole a boat in Alaska and had it crated up and shipped to Seattle,

You should find out if he gets the Alaska Permanent Fund dividend check every year. That would prove that he lives up here in Alaska. Otherwise he couldn't get the $1000± each year that we get in lieu of paying State income tax (there is none up here).

Usually people lie about livinig *here* so they can get the check.

Good luck. I live 350 miles from your dirtbag but if you need some general Alaska info and for some reason can't find it, I'll try to help.

I just got back from hand delivering copies to the local police the DMV and the criminal investigation branch of the local I.R.S.

Wish me luck!
