my boss asked me to make a webpage for a group he's in, so here it is. just tell me what you think about how it looks, i usually do it all in notepad, but i got lazy and used frontpage, so please don't critique the code. i plan on rewriting it all over in notepad, but i wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions before i did that.

thanks!

edit: oh yea and none of the links will do anything, it's just text for now.

Looks decent thus far, I'm not a huge fan of the color combinations.. kinda clashes IMHO, but what do I know? Maybe they'd work if you had some other background color or image. The graphics could be spiced up a bit too but I was never a very good graphic designer so I won't say much about that.

well, it's a pretty simple page, so there's not much to say

Good:
Simple and clean
easy to follow
neat

Bad(mostly personal preference:
links don't work
My own moral issues with anyone who uses frontpage.
I'd use standard form buttons for reset and submit simply because it's more customary and you know there'll be some newb who won't figure out the links in the side.
The colors....I don't like the colors...

yoda - i normally use notepad.... please don't judge me... please.... this was just to get the first draft done... oh the shame...

yea i was worried about the colors, maybe i'll find something else.

thevrolok - yea i guess it is kind of simple, but i kinda wanted it to be that way since it's for a university department. but yes, as i said before, i'll look into changing the colors... :)

It sucks, Darby. :p

I would put actual buttons for RESET and SUBMIT. The colors are not a big deal, I would leave it as it is. I like what you've done with the date fields. :)

It looks good, but it's not tied together. I would suggest making the orange bar longer, and filling the white portion below University Training Network with another color.

Also, any good reasons University Training Network is an image and not text?

thanks guys.

i guess nobody likes the cool submit and reset buttons :( it's just that normal ones are so... ugly! :p

worth -

what do you mean when you say it doesn't look tied together? like the stuff is too separated? and by white space do mean where all the content is, or just between the title and the content?

it's an image because i'm not sure if all computers have that font, and i think i changed it a little to look better than normally.
