My goal: Quiet but powerful cooling in a stylish case (everyone's goal, right?)

Case: Chieftec Dragon Silver with side window

Case Fans: 4x Panaflo L1A Ultra Quiet Dual intake, dual exhaust.

Lighting / Cables: 12" UV stick. 2 x 18" Blue UV IDE cables. 1 x 10" Green UV floppy cables.

CPU cooling: Alpha PAL8045 heatsink with 80mm fan

Now, for the questions:

1. Will 18" dual device round IDE cables be long enough for the Chieftec mid-tower case w/ NF7-S rev2 mobo?
2. Will 10" floppy cable be long enough for the case + mobo listed above?
3. I will be overclocking my 2600+ Barton to 200FSB+ as well as the memory (2x512 of Kingmax PC3500). Will four L1A panaflos and a decent HSF/Arctic Silver 5 provide enough cooling?
4. The case also comes with a 6-unit fan baybus. (7v-off-12v). Do L1As work well with 7v?
5. And lastly, please critique the setup -- what would you do different and why! Thanks fellers.

That's what I used to think, but it's not necessarily the case. Some of the popular, cheap pumps are actually quite loud, especially after months of use (ViaAqua). My old ViaAqua was louder than any air cooling fan I ever heard (even the big Delta's).

If you want quiet, also consider whether your present hard drives are quiet. The system's as quiet as its loudest part, and the HDDs are up in the front of the case. If you're shopping for a quiet HDD, look for a fluid-bearing Seagate or Maxtor. Some WD models have fluid bearings too, but many still don't.
