Ship UPS Ground, shouldnt run more than $20-25
USPS is great for small/lightweight packages, but use the big boys for the larger packages.

I never even considering selling the dead sub.Originally posted by: Captante
I sold the satellites and the dead sub from my Klipsch 4:1 system right here in the FS/FT forum ... let them go pretty cheap, but since I wasn't expecting to get anything at all out of them it was totally worth it.
I just listed it as what it was ... somone locally had a need for the drivers out of it & paid me $20 for it... took 15 minutes of my time!
Only $20? For an entire set? Well maybe mine will go for more since I think the only thing wrong with them is the amp.
I am positive the sub is fine and the speakers probably are, as well. But I'm not sure if I should just sell the satellites! Argh so aggravating! And I need to decide quick!Originally posted by: UncleWai
If i were you, I would go buy a cheapo 5.1 receiver and check if the speakers and subwoofer work.
Even though you stated that the auction is being sold without any guarantee, but people in Ebay are stupid.
They will still bitch when they find out the speakers and/or subwoofer doesn't work.
I don't think the little money you get from it is worth the troubles.
I would try craigslist and see if someone want to pick them up cheap.
You save the buyers $42 on shipping if you can find a local buyer, which means you can sell the speakers at a higher price.
Don't have time, I'm leaving town in a week!Originally posted by: Cawchy87
I would have try selling them on FS/FT first. To me the word "dead" in any title line isn't very appealing.

Quick, how do I do that? Just schedule a pickup online? Never shipped with them before.
Sigh I want to but I already have this auction up. I can't just cancel it.Originally posted by: UncleWai
Try craigslist, it's free...... you'll be surpise the number of responses you will get.
When I was selling my notebook (albeit I was selling at a great price), I got 4-5 offers every day for a week.
Doing now...Originally posted by: Cawchy87
I would.
Because if it goes for $10 I wouldn't even want to bother.Originally posted by: IAteYourMother
what's the point of having a reserve anyways?

why are you keeping the center channel?
I was under the impression that is more discouraging.Originally posted by: IAteYourMother

Sigh I know. But I have so many of the right size for four and none of the right size for five. Would have to make a trip to Staples or something and buy one. Not very appealing considering I'll MAYBE get $30-some for these.Originally posted by: Shawn

Then get a bigger box and charge more. I think most people would want all 5 speakers. That way all they would need is a reciever and a sub (if they wanted).
