It's called an airplane. 😛

But seriously, the way UPS 3-day select usually works is that they fly it into the nearest hub, and then it goes by ground the rest of the way. Something is seriously screwed up in your local UPS infrastructure if it takes more than 3 days.

Ground is a whole 'nother story though.

Tell me about it, i currently have a package about 25 mins north of my house, estimated delivery date? July 20th.

Ground I take it? Another crappy thing about ground is that those packages get lowest priority on the local delivery truck. If you're in a really dense metro area, it may just sit there because higher priority packages need the space.

LOL DHL currently holds for 4 days (according to their own tracking) a very small box from NewEgg in a warehouse few miles away from the destination address.

What they are waiting for is a Mystery to me. 😱

Yep, ground not only ground but a .025lbs USB cable... throw the damn thing and i could probably get it faster.

Even Fedex works this way at times, they use computers to maximize route delivery while maintaining shipping window times. Meaning, they may not drive 20 miles for 8 packages in your part of town, when the next day there will be 30. Saving gas at 4 dollars a gallon.
Ever buy from Apple directly. They over-estimate delivery time, so as to always be on time.

*shrugs*
Newegg service and shipping has been fine with me. I ordered a brand new PC through them with a final price tag pushing just over 4 grand. The had it processed within 24 hours of ordering and shipped out next day. I had it arrive at my house in 3 days and it would have been in 2 days had I had got two number backwards in my own address which is basically what their UPS-3 day service guarantees.

If your having issues with UPS then you may need to be a little more specific about your street address. I know mine is an Avenue but the street sign doesn't say that; I've ran into issues with USPS and FedEx cause of that before. If it's not that then UPS service sucks in your area and that isn't Newegg's fault.
