I would look into either a Philips Acoustic Edge or a Santa Cruz instead of the live 5.1. There was a problem with the live cards and the via southbridge that your motherboard uses. If you are using this computer for a lot of gaming you might want to go with a geforce2 ultra or geforce3 instead, but the radeon is better for 2d stuff. I would also look into a cd-rw that has burn-proof or justlink. Also, you don't need ecc registered ram unless you are running a server. A bigger power supply wouldn't hurt either. If you are getting fans I recomend panaflo fans because they are nice and quiet. I think that the case you have picked has room for two more.

OK I've scratched the Radeon and have decided to go with the Geforce 2 Ultra. I'm gonna go ahead and grab the Hercules Gaming Theatre XP. Any other suggestions.....PS I'm trying to keep this under 1000 bucks.

if the sony doesn't have burnproof or justlink, i would get a drive that does, like the aopen 1232a. comes with nero too.

I agree with gopunk. The Aopen drive is really good and can read and write subchannel data which is rare among CDRWs. Avoid the Sony.
The case you listed comes with one case fan which s/b sufficient since you won't be overclocking with the retail HSF. If you wanted to overclock, I would suggest a new HSF and at least one more case fan.
If you are trying to cut costs, spend less on the audio card and just get a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz, and/or get an MSI K7 Master mobo instead of the ASUS or even an Epox 8K7A and/or step the video card down to a GeForce 2 Pro instead of the Ultra.
