Not familiar with UK prices, so I can't tell you if those are good deals or not. The build looks good, but you will probably want to go with a dual-channel kit since the LGA 1156 processors have dual-channel memory controllers. 2x2 or 2x4 is good. I would not buy OCZ memory due to the compatibility issues (search this forum and you will find them).

There is no reason to use OCZ ram, it's high voltage and has some compatibility issues as of late. 6GB is also a bad number as it means your memory controller has to work in 2+1 mode, which is bad for performance compared to 2 or 2+2. I'd grab 4/8 GB. I'd get 1 or 2x Ripjaws (or any other reputable, 1.5 volt ram) which can run at 1.5 volts and are less costly.

I'd also advise against wireless keyboard/mouse for any sort of gaming.

You could also consider an AMD X6 platform for video editing/sims (which are often well-threaded).

Also, your links are broken.

Thanks for your replies guys. I'll ditch the OCZ and go for some dual channel RAM then. BTW have no idea what happened to the links, the forum seems to have modified them?

BTW for RAM, how about if I get 2x2GB + 2x1GB totalling 6GB?

2x2 + 2x1 would work in dual-channel mode. I wouldn't go for it because you'll have to ditch 2 sticks of memory if you want to upgrade.
