Its just i have been putting this off for so long, that my patience has run out, i just want a new computer,

The details, if this is what you mean, i am on xp sp2, and it will be mainly used for audio, i still need to buy a sound card, but for now on board is good enough, i was t hinking of getting graphics card later, still not sure what to get

the above is about $1400 Australian dollars

Looks okay. Not entirely sure of that RAM, I don't pay much attention to OCZ. But why not get the video card and sound card right now, so it arrives all at the same time?

sound card, need to think about it for a while, and for my present needs, i was told the on board is pretty good.

Graphics can you make some recommendations?

Not really a graphics person, it will be mainly used for midi compositon, some audio, and internet etc

to be honest, with ram i am lost, i just noticed the brand in people signatures, and just chose anything that seemed appropriate, any recommendations?
