playstation teaches 9 yearold how to steal a car

wow that mom should be shot.

the kid also got on a plane and took off. Where was the mother when this was happening? sheesh

first myspace causes dumb teens to go to sexual predators houses (or more likely, the parents don't like what the dumb teen did) and now playstation causes kid to steal cars and hijack airplanes

"The real story is that the boy most recently evaded airport security, managing to hop a Southwest Airlines flight from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to San Antonio, Texas. He was eventually apprehended while attempting to catch another flight to Dallas, where he had hoped to reunite with his grandfather."

Why does it sound more and more like neglectful parents than anything... Oh, and smart kid. 😀

yes it is neglectful parents

lol. Thats one smart 9yr old. How the hell did he know how to make connecting flights at different airports? I think thats teh real question, and what video game taught him how to pull that one off. I woulda been totally lost at any airport at that age.

And this, Ladies and Gentlemen, is what you get when a 9-year-old is smarter than his parents.
Or parents are dumber than a 9-year-old. Which seems to be the case here 😛

There are TWO problems with this story.

1. How did he get on the airplane and pay for the ticket? Where did he get the money and if your 9 years old dont you need special permission from your parents along with someone at the airport to help you out?
2. PS does not help you steal cars. In GTA you steal a car by running up next to get opening the door. Apparently no one in the real world wears seatbelts and will not speed up or resist. IN GTA every single car is unlocked and just so happen to have the car keys read to go in the ignition. Nothing that the ps lets you do in the way of stealing cars would help you in real life..

to be fair, according to the blurb she didn't say the PS taught him how to steal cars. it taught him how to drive.
Mom believes "PlayStation" taught him to drive.
so if he was a gran turismo addict, then maybe. maybe he even had a wheel and pedals.

That kid has a bright future in international espionage and will do America great good. His Mom is patriot of a different kind - she believes in suing mega-billion-dollar corporations to pay off her debts while drawing attention away from the fact that she has no control over her kid.

 to that kid. He's smart, got a car up to 90mph and loves his grandfather.

How tall is a 9-yr-old? How did his feet reach the pedals? He'd have to bend real low for that...and once he did, it would be impossible to actually get a decent look at the road.

Who the hell keeps letting this kid go back home? You'd think they might want to put him in juvie or child services after the first two or three times he stole a car.
