I already have a current Eye as well, so not sure what I should do there. But it's either the Move bundle or Halo Reach in a couple of weeks. Undecided about which way to go with it.

If the Joystiq review is similar to the one I just read at Engadget, then it definitely sounds better than the Wii, and I'm already intrigued. Sports Champions sounds great.

I'm not going to vent my opinion on that decision..but...

I figure Sports Champions costs $40 by itself...the controller $50. So a $10 PS Eye? Let's see if I can get rid of mine on eBay or something.

Yeah, um Halo reach or the glowing dildo? I would take reach in that instance.

I'll spend money on one or the other, I'm not going to shell out $160 in one week on games. Might end up getting neither.

That's irrelevant though, this thread isn't about Reach. Carry on.

I have virtually no interest in Move, or Kinect.

Screw motion controls; they suck.

Generally I agree. It's fun to screw around with some buddies on wii sports or raving rabbids, but when I sit down to play a game I generally want to kick back and relax. Motion controls are not conducive to this. I wonder if using controllers with future games designed for motion controls will prove detrimental.

How is that even a point worth noting, saying, or even thinking? Why did you post such useless drivel?

Then they obviously aren't marketing Halo towards you. ZIIIIIIINNNNG.

Not

Or so they claim

Point made.

Halo is made towards me. I like FPS games. Halo is shit. You obviously don't like motion controls of any kind. IE, not marketed towards you. ZING.

So...is anybody picking up Move day 1? I remember that one guy got it here...never really posted much about it though. :(

Nope, no point made. And let's quit this silly cross-thread quotations, as it's rather childish.

Halo Reach is made for fans of the Halo series. You aren't one, so it isn't marketed towards you. No one who disliked the other Halos would like reach. ZING

Anyway, I have a Wii (as well as a 360 and PS3). The controls can work, but no game has really used it in a satisfactory way yet.

I do have a problem with Sony's and Microsoft's last effort move to copy Nintendo's success, with Sony pushing out a lame copy product and Microsoft pushing out a technically unsuccessful product. Not to mention both companies are too scared to completely back their products, sort of like they were with the eye toy and HD-DVD.

It's Sony and Microsoft's application of motion controls that I have issues with, not the technology as a whole.

So stop making assumptions, and stop saying ZING when you've made no point or conclusions. It makes you sound like a little kid with too much candy.

ZIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG (I'm so clever)

As little interest as I have in all this motion controlled bullshit, it's driving me nuts that people are declaring one or the other successful from a hardware standpoint when no one has their hands on final hardware.

All games are playable with one Move controller. A handful offer enhanced control with two... Sports Champions and The Fight most notably.
