Gravis Gamepad Pro USB.

Nate
I have that and the game-port version as well...the Gamepad Pro hast the worst d-pad I've ever used in my entire life. :|

Now I use USB/PSX adapters and PlayStation controllers. :D

The d-pad does suck, but these are still the best ones that I have found. Where can I get the USB adaptors for the real PS controlers?
I have a couple made by Pelican which work great but I don't think they make them anymore. They also don't support dual-shock or anything else fancy like that...just the basic original PSX controllers.

I also have one of the Soyo Kiky-X adapters. It supports dual-shock, analog sticks, dance pads, and even my driving controller! I'm not sure about analog button support though since I don't have one of those controllers. I've heard people say that the Soyo unit has a slight lag but I only noticed it while using a DDR pad...even then, it could have been my system's fault since it didn't seem to be getting along with DDR PC too well.

Someone above linked to Lik-Sang. They will likely have so many choices that you'll get confused and just say F-it! ;)

Bleem and VGS emulator didn't originally work with Windows XP. Although I think there might be a XP hack/patch for VGS...

Sony sued Bleem! out of buisness for selling the emulator at places like CompUSA boxed. I guess they don't care as long as you don't make money off of it.

Bleem didn't work with 2000 upon its death, and XP wasn't released yet. It's highly unlikely that it works now with it.

It doesn't. I found out the hard way...by trying to run it :(

I forgot what the pop-up box says though. It probably says "Windows 98/ME required" or something similar.

I use ePsxe and my custom built Parallel PSX Adapter. You have to play around with different video and sound plugins before you get one that works well (might not get the exact original sounds as the PSX) but its close and you're not one to complain it should do nicely.

Alright guys, I got ePsxe working great. My only problem is that I'm not getting sound during FMVs. Does anyone have a clue as to what might cause that?

Other than that, the visuals are near perfect, and the in-game sound is right on. Now I just need to get the controller situation worked out.. hopefully the adaptor Megalo has will work for me.

If you're not getting audio from the videos there's an option in audio setup you haven't enabled yet. I think it was XA audio or something...

oh yea, I'm playing ff 5 on the epsxe, somehow I'm getting like 20-40 fps. It was at 250fps and drop to 50fps during a scenario. I have a ti4200 vc and p4 1.5 512 rambus. I just don't know why? Is it the video plugin?

Yup, pretty much.

Far as FMV sound, yes, enable XA audio. You may also need to run the old analog CD audio cable to your sound card.

Pretty much. You have to download a psx bios and plugins and configure it all. Then just pop it in and play.
