Here it is......

My friend found one of these at an auction or something, so he bought it for like $5. Anyone know anymore info about it? Anyone know how much it would be worth on eBay or For Sale/ Trade forums?

Thanks!

Damn $5 for that is ungodly cheap. IIRC they used to sell for something like $400-$500.

I thought they were even more than that. Could it be just a regular PS with a blue case. I don't think they are worth much anymore since the PS is basically dead now.

I don't think that link is the pictures of the exact unit that this person is talking about since here he seems to know lots about them.

It's a Yaroze or however you spell it.

Now that I think of it I though Nat Yaroze machines were all black.

someone i knew who worked for squaresoft had one of these back in the days. i think they are take home units for employees to debug games. as someone said before, they play burned games and i think they are meant for inhouse testing and debugging. was pretty cool back in the day cuz she always had beta versions of the games months before they were to come out. for $5, i'd say it's nice to have in a collection.
