Playstation 3

Well, on my ventures yesterday, I came across 4 retail stores that all had the PS3 MGS4 bundle in stock.

Three stores had 4 of them, but only one in the last store.

This is the one with the BC right ? So should I have grabbed one up ?

What I thought was funny, was when I seen them. Another guy came by with his girl...and said look...they have the bundle here in stock. Can we get one ? She screamed NO WE CAN NOT. YOU DONT NEED THAT. So she turned the corner, and he took another look at it then he continued to follow her.

Damn I am glad I have a wife that loves gaming 🙂

Yea, I have been debating on the BC that it has...mostly because I have a brand new Devil May Cry 5th Anniversary Set not even been played yet.

Just wondering if I should use the BC in the PS3, or just get a slim PS2. Although I will have another (sold my last one) PS3 anyway for games I am interested in.

I did see alot of Xbox 360's yesterday, that had a manufacture date of 8/6/2008. Those were Elites and Pro's.

I see mgs bundles at target all the time.

nobody wants them, everyone who wanted them already bought them.

just get a ps2 you can resell it for 70% after you beat the hell out of it. Never seen a used system keep so much value.

I am still considering the PS3 bundle, only for the BC and upscaling for PS2 games. Would like to see if DMC 1, 2, and 3 would look any better or not over HDMI.

I compared my PS2 slim with component vs. PS3 with HDMI for Xenosaga II and it didn't look much different, but my Samsung 1080p DLP set has good built-in upscaling.

So to me the PS3 BC is worth it more for allowing unlimited memory cards on the hard disk, to use the Dual Shock 3, and to free up space on my AV rack.

If your TV's upscaling isn't great or you don't already own a PS2 with component cables then the MGS4 bundle makes sense because you get the MGS4 gane + BC for the $100 vs. buying a real PS2 for ~$75+ used or ~$160+ new with memory cards.

i will say that my mgs4 ps3 isn't super quiet like some people say their 40gb ones are. Other than that, everything is good. I guess im just saying go for the 40gb if you want it for movies only.
