i think anything over retail like kbkids...

Bundle
PS2 -$300
3 Games - $150
Controller and DVD - $50

That's $500 retail...
So i think it's all good

These bundles are nuts unless you actually would buy the bundled stuff anyway. Why would anyone do this when you can buy direct from Sony for $299? Yes, Sony goes in and out of stock but it will be back soon for $299.

PS2s are showing up in quantity now. The EBX in Redmond, WA had 40 of them yesterday. They made a little throne in the back room with them and took pictures of each other in it. Pretty funny.

Anyway, they don't appear to be too hard to come by anymore. Personally, I think it's worth it for SSX and Starfighter alone.

Man arent the marketere at sony geniuses? At first the released such a small amount of PS2's that everyone wanted one. Now there are more and more sites that have them for above retail price and people still think that they are hard to get even though its clear that PS's are easy to get now. Nice marketing scheme by Sony.

Yep, playstation.com had them for 2 days til this morning to post not available. If Sony marketing is any genius they better produce fast before the recession hitting the US hard, then it doesn't matter anymore.

Spend $500 on PS2? -- NO!
I bought one from Playstation.com. It was $299.
And bought some games from e-bay.
The total cost is near $430 from 1 ps2 and 3 games.
