I DON"T BELIEVE THIS!!!! I waited at work until 6:25 watching the amazon website refresh thanks to that nice little webpage posted earlier and then decided that it was probably not going to happen for a while longer (around 5:00 pst) so I left to go home. I have been sitting watching the page refresh for the last 1 hour and 20 minutes when I decide I might check to see if there was any new news in here, and guess what... I FIND OUT THAT IN THE 15 MINUTES IT TOOK ME TO GET HOME IT CAME AND WENT!!!!

Oh well... there will be others.

I used one-click ordering. 90 minutes later, surely and truely, I got my email, saying it will arrive on Nov. 21st, with 2nd day air shipping.

ah sorry you guys missed it :(

Does one-click ordering order it for you? Or order it immediately?

<< How much interest would there be for me to run a copy of my stock checking bot on efnet or dalnet or whatever? >>

Juice,

Myself and many others would love to have access to your stock checking bot. It would save us all a tremendous amount of time and frustration searching.

I used one-click and dunno if it actually works... But the status of my order did say "Item(s) in stock... shipping soon" and I got an email saying "(Usually ships in 24 hours)" after the description of the package. I did not find any "out of stock" word in the email though.

IN A WORD, ONE-CLICK SEEMED TO BE WORKING--BY NOW. My two pesoes.

Email of order confirmation actually came over 2 hours after 3:29PM PST, when I placed the order. Hope it went through... Anyway, I will never be such a psycho again by looking at the screen EVERY SECOND since some 8AM PST. (I can let the screen refresh automatically but I do not believe I can have enough time to order by letting the browser send message to my cellular phone, etc. so i would rather looking at the progress by myself.:D) Really sick of it. My colleages all thought I was kind of abnormal. It just ruined the whole day of mine.

Hope you guys get one as well.;)

SimonSays,

Good question--i would really like to try it out as a gamer but it seems to be tempting to sell it on fleabay. I found both the NIB and "slightly used" units will be sold around $550 these days so maybe I will just use it first carefully then sell it.:) I bet there will be over half of the people buy this with the sole purpose of profit!

I heard that DVD play-back is not that great due to its excessive noise so I would rather use my Thinkpad (which has DVD and S-video out) for that purpose although I may not have 5.1 sound... Gotta try out SSX to see if it is really better than its precedents.

I was really crazy of buying it but now feel that I may be like my CPU, constantly overheated in the mind.

Good luck,

GiantPanda

This thread is locked because too many people are trying to negotiate sales of these units to others.

IF and WHEN we permit selling PS2's, the proper forum will be our For Sale/Trade. You must enable your profile and display your email address to participate in that forum.
