Playing Videos

I built my new rig.. anyway i have a x1900xtx and when i try to watch trailers and stuff all the colors are distorted and it looks like crap. Anyone konw why? thnx

It's only when playing videos n stuff... games run so awesome.. i run all my games at 1280x1024

have you tried playing videos on other media player software, like Winamp or Media Player Classic?

If your system doesn't have the correct codecs then you might get funky stuff like that when you are playing certain avi files. Instead of downloading a huge codec pack which might just make things worse I would try using VLC as your media player to see if videos work in that VLC Website . That will play almost anything that you throw at is since all of the codecs are built into the player and it doesn't use the ones supplied by windows.

Try K-Lite codec pack, it has everything you need to playback practically any video format in existence.
