I've still got my F-15 Strike Eagle III CD (actually, I have the CD, and the old 5 1/4 floppies), and I've been wanting to give it another spin just for old times sake.

Does anyone know if there is a DOS emulator or something that will allow me to play this game? I remember it needing EMS memory. Ideally I'd like to have my PS/2 mouse (used to be serial back in the day), onboard Realtek sound (used to be Pro Audio Spectrum 16), and screen output work.

Is there like a defacto standard for DOS emulators?

Cool, thanks, I'll check it out when I get home from work.

Man, if I could get this thing working reliably, I wonder if the networking (done by either serial or parallel) could be made to work also via the Internet?

If so that would be amazing.

Man I remember we used to try and adjust BUFFERS and stuff in the DOS config files for best performance...I wonder if I'll have to do that again?

They usually use dosbox : p I get some games from them though. It's nice not having to worry about the settings although for most popular games you can find good settings posted online.

Yeah, GOG isnt rewriting games from scratch or anything. Although theres a buttload of games I wish we could get back.
Janes Fighters Anthology pops to mind.
