Nintendo has been pretty "focused" on keeping it just a game console. IE not spending the money to license Divx / DVD support to keep costs down.Well then, that settles it. Thanks.

If you want a media center hub, I suggest either a HTPC with HDCP support / Blu-Ray player, a PS3, or an xbox 1 modded into a media center.

How much is opera, and how well does this work ?
The wii is the only thing on the TV in the "kids living room". If I could get it to stream their movies from my media server with an easy to use interface, it would actually be very useful for us..

I don't have access to the shopping channel so I can't buy Opera. Can I buy the Wii Points cards instead?
