Playing Doom IN Doom3

A few people have mananged to incorporate playable shareware Doom into terminal in Doom3. Cute.

Interesting concept.

As they say, this application is not exactly useful, and the input handling provided by Doom3 isn't exactly the most complete, but there are likely uses for this kind of thing.

that's hilarious. like in Day of the Tentacle, you could play the full, original Maniac Mansion on a computer in the game.

I really enjoy when older versions of games are included as easter eggs. Donkey Kong 64 also had an arcade somewhere that let you play the original Donkey Kong 1,2 and 3.

Recently, Ninja Gaiden for X-Box also included the original NES Gaiden 1, 2, and 3.

That's a pretty impressive tribute to the Doom 3 engine.
