Hey guys,
I just gave my Hajime no Ippo series to a friend. He has a mac running OSx and is complaing about it playing choppy and video/audio going out of sync when he runs them on quicktime. I know the episodes play fine on my system and was wondering if you guys could suggest what programs / codecs he should use. When i use GSpot, it tells me that the codec used on my system to render it was Divx 3 Low-Motion

It's liscensed? Since when? Animesuki doesn't have any reports of it being liscensed and still has torrents up for download.

never had any problems with divx3.11 encodes decoded on the divx5 for osx. Mayhaps he has a g3 or an absolutely crap videocard?

What version of the codec is he using? This was a problem that has been fixed with the most current releases.

yeah, it works a LOT better with 5.06 than it did with previous versions of divx on OS X

Heh, Hika-go is a great series as well. I wished it had been liscensed a bit later but hopefully when released in the us, it won't be butchered too much.
