Playing CoD: MW2 single mode on two different computers at the same time

Hi, I am very new to Steam as it is my first purchase of the game based on Steam.

I purchased MW2 and installed on my computer, and of course, linked CD-Key to my Steam account. Then my brother wants to play on his computer. We will both only play single mode as we are not multiplay guys.

So, if I install MW2 on his computer and use my Steam account to log in, I assume he can play the game, especially since we both play single only. But is this ok with Steam terms? What if he logs in to Steam and runs the game while I am playing single mode on my computer? Will it ring the alarm to Steam?

Sorry for my newbie questions. Thanks in advance!

Install the game, log in to Steam on one computer, then go into Offline mode on said computer, then feel free to log in to Steam on the other computer and you should be fine.
At least one computer will need to be in Offline mode though, otherwise it won't work.

will work but technically immoral

I'm not sure if "immoral" is the right word there, particularly preceded by "technically".

OP: You can't log into a Steam account from two different computers at the same time. As above, put one into offline mode.

I don't see it as unethical. It would be unethical to buy one copy between five mates and play it that way. But sharing a game you bought with your brother in the same house is hardly unethical. Technically it would be against the TOS, but that just goes to show how contrived these agreements have become.

Thanks for the comments! As I think it is somewhat unethical, I will install on both PC, but will persuade him to play on mine, or at least not at the same time. Hope Steam and Activistion don't mind! :)
