Means i should stay well away from PUBG as it will be a hacker haven.
i'm telling you what is likely to happen, but i'm not telling you it will happen 100% guaranteed.
conscentious game owners can mitigate the problem. the real question is,
how do you feel about hackers.
if you are like me, one hacker can send me in a nerd rage. i wasn't kidding when i say i hate them, elect me to supreme power and i will have spammers and hackers put to death. But, i'm not saying "PUBG will be so hack-infested that it will be impossible to have fun".
Rather, what i'm 101% confident of, PUBG will be impossible to play AT A HIGH SKILL LEVEL because that kind of game attracts hackers aplenty and a simple radar hack or ESP hack is too hard to detect
in that type of game.
In Quake, you simply cannot get away with hacks, ESP is useless, and wallhack is fairly easily spotted, more so when people have 20 years of experience in the game and are absolute maniacs for quake.
Also, hax are useless against people who are better than a bot. Quake relies more on prediction projectile weapons rather than hitscan weapons, and also massively on movement, like UT, so 1337Pr0 > hacker .
i wouldn't want to play PUBG with waay too much effort and then rage because someone killed me and then have my brain eroded by the thought "omg, was he a hacker? he must have been a hacker! am i going insane?"
i play Survarium, i get instakilled from someone on the other side of the map, but i still know he's not hacking, because the developers of that game are absolutely ruthless in eradicating hackers, and there is a self-policing system in place that makes it almost impossible for anyone to hack for more than 2-3 rounds and not be banned.
in CSGO .. it's another story ...
