Played any good computer games, lately?

I'm bored! I need a new computer game to play. It has to be for the PC, because it will be late next year before I can afford a console system.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm open to just about any genre.

Battlefield 1942. I've also started playing Ultima Online recently, still tons of people playing it. Great game.

I bought WC3 the first day it came out. Having never played the beta test, I thought this game will live up to what everyone said. Sadly, I found out that RTS isnt my cup of tea anymore. Even though I played WC2, SC, Total Annihilation, C&C series for quite a while before that. I think now I'm just hooked on Action RPGs and FPS.

UT2K3, BF1942, Soldiers of Fortune 2, No One Lives Forever 2 are your FPS choices
NeverWinter Nights, Dungeon Siege, Icewind Dale 2 are your RPGs/Action RPGs

That's all the genres I'm interested in. Some MMORPGs like Earth & Beyond, Asheron's Call 2, Anarchy Online are the recent good MMORPGs that will drain your wallet monthly if you commit to them. Which I don't recommend since you said you can't afford a console yet....

$200 is a lot to spend for 1 game....might as well get Steel Battalion :Q

NOLF2 is the best game I've played for awhile. NeverWinter Nights is another great game if you like RPGs.

Right now I am playing Medal of Honor, AA and it's pretty good. It's pretty repetitive now, just aim and shoot or toss a grenade. But it also has its hard parts. I tried over 25 times to pass the beach scene before I made it :Q

Warcraft III is ok but there are so many smurfs playing, it's hard to find a good game. Too many people have too many accounts, and it's usually a very easy game (because team is better than rank) or insanely hard (opponent is better than rank). Blizzard should have limited the player accounts or tied them to cd keys to keep the smurfs from ruining online play. Custom games are still a lot of fun though

still playing UO? i played it 3 yrs from the start but got bored and quit a long time ago. Amazing ppl still playing that old one.. i guess some oldie games are goodies after all

I got NOLF2 and RalliSport Challenge for xmas and have been having fun with them. NWN is good too.

The Thing is pretty good, haven't played any good single player games lately, though I played the Splinter Cell demo and it looks very very kickass.

Mostly getting re-addicted to Counterstrike.
