From its very first issue in 1953 to its latest incarnation, the full catalog of Playboy Magazine is coming to the iPad this March. And not only that, it'll be faithful to its original form by arriving to your Apple slate uncensored. Such is the word direct from the man responsible for that first copy, one Mr. Hugh Hefner. Anyone who's followed Apple's App Store rulings and Steve Jobs' forthright comments on the subject of keeping adult material off mobile devices will surely find this a bemusing, if not entirely inconsistent, decision. The details of how this slice of software will be delivered to the iPad (and what restrictions it may come with) will be most intriguing indeed.

Very interesting as we thought nothing like that would ever go on an Apple device but they obviously know it'll make them enough money so of course they'll do it. Having the whole catalog available at the pooper would be awesome. Now just need a water-proof dock for the bathroom.

Playboy has sucked balls since the late 70's.
But this is still interesting news.

I'd agree but change the date they began to suck to the mid 80's. That isn't to say there haven't been stunning girls after that just that on average they have been more the product of the plastic surgeon then god. In its hay-day PB featured the beautiful girl next door, but since the mid 80's Hef has been fixated on synthetically enhanced "girls from another planet!"

Take a look at Susie Scott (5/83) and compare her to Anna Nicole Smith and you can see how PB changed from the pretty girl next door to, well, not so girl next doorish...

Well the 90's were especially bad for fake women. But my point was the overall change of tone when Hefner started taking a hands-off approach. I understand he was rich and tired and wanted to take a little break, but the magazine kinda wussified itself after that. There were no more intense political articles and the photo shoots were done by cookie-cutter design. Not much originality or forging new paths. But the glamorized 80's was just the way the country was headed and Playboy simply kept up, instead of being the standard everyone else followed.

I don't know man, ANS did it for me when she was young and in umm...in shape. She didn't age well, but that is always a hit and miss.

Honestly after Googling this...ANS is way better than Scott. Scott has a weird chubby face. At least ANS had a defined cheek structure.

To each his own! ANS NEVER did anything for me, not even at her hottest and when she blew up, and you could see that was going to happen, she was pathetic.

The weird chubby face ... you got to be kidding.

Again, to each his own...

I don't know it was so much that he was rich and tired as it was he'd just had a stroke. The 80's were bad to Hef and he and his magazine changed in a bad way.
