i dont play the game but why is level 60 this ultimate goal? is that the limit?

Correct. It is the current level cap. Blizzard is releasing a new expansion in the coming months which will raise it to 70 iirc.

i quit wow 2 months clean. many of my friends followed.
i logon using a friend i meet in my guild. good guy but didn't want to play. i log on a few times a week to shoot the crapper with old guildmates.
i was part of a 'high end' raiding guild. Up until i quit, we killed all mc, bwl, aq40, and 5 naxx kills.
fully geared 60 warlock and 60 warrior.

i was sitting in the naxx and i realized how crappy, boring, un-fun, and how much i hated raiding , so i told them i had to go and /gquit. gave away 4K in gold and mats. Those AQ20 class books sell for pretty pennies.

Earth Air is a lot better than Azeroth Air.

2 months clean, 5 naxx kills ... something not right about that.

WOW should be banned for people that play it too much. Too many of my friends are so addicted to that fvcking game that they never want to do anything anymore. Always like "Just 2 more hours till im done with this Instance". Or "I just want to log on real quick to see if my friends are on."

You're friends sound like losers (doesn't bode well for you, either.)

Whose fault do you believe it is that they play so much, and who do you think should be tasked with "banning" WoW for them?

QQ and Learn2AssumePersonalResponsibility. 😉

there are a couple flaws with this constantly rehashed arguement.

1) the assumption that your friends would be doing something better with thier time if they weren't wowing.

2) the assumption that these character flaws do not extend outside the bounds of WoW.

Why do you believe someone is just going to give you an account for free instead of sell it and make a little money? 😛

My buddy had one of the power leveling services power level him an undead priest, they did it in 9 days played, thats gotta be a record or something.

Just grind a new character to 60.

I have a lvl 60 raiding rogue on Arthas (alliance), with MC/BWL/AQ40 on farm & working on our 8th Naxx boss kill. I also rolled a priest (horde, Shattered Hand) to 60 and started raiding there with some friends (MC/BWL on farm, Twin Emps in AQ40), and recently started a druid (hore, Shattered Hand) to pvp with those same friends in the lower level brackets (chilling in 30-39 for now).

/sigh.

On farm meaning you do it easily/ every session or just want you want?

"On farm" generally means every boss has been killed, do it routinely, boring as heck, do it on off nights. We don't do MC/BWL anymore (we'll organize pug raids), AQ40 is on Thursdays (not a official raid day, bring alts or whatever), and we're focusing on Naxx (Sunday/Monday/Wednesday).

You cant trasfer characters unless the account has the same last name as the account you are transfering from.

8.5 Days played was my record and it was on a post 1.8 feral druid.

He is rank 12 and about 60% through that to lvl13...he does train 2x a week and read so he does get exercise.
