I would at least wear some sort of protection over my groin...those tennis balls can hurt a bunch when served at 100+ mph...
EDIT: for those of you thinking that you'd be fast enough to return that serve without getting hit (or at least block it)...what if you're playing the opposite sex and you're too engaged in observing the 'bounce' when she serves?

LOL i remember playing tennis when it was dusk... the courts had their own lights, and i thought it was enough... but once i got a serve to the jewels, i never played at night again.
I played tennis for 5 years in highschool and I think i got hit in the nuts once every year. Wouldnt running around with your package hanging free kinda hurt when it slaps your thighs? I mean just thinking about Anna Kournakouva (SP) playing tennis in the nude

The whole stunt relies on the public expecting to see nude guys and gals with the physique of pro tennis players.
i played tennis in HS as well, and once i was playing doubles teamed up with our coach versus two other guys... and the damn coach smacked me right in the head when he served.

I don't think anybody wants to see guys playing tennis naked... it's just not an attractive site. Girls on the other hand... but still, i wouldn't pay to watch that crap.

I've been to the resort this is being held at. When I was a teenager, my best friend's parents had a condo there, and I went with them one afternoon. My parents would have killed me if they had found out!
I grew up just a few miles away from this place (Lake Como/Paradise Lakes) and I can assure you that there is no one you want to see naked there. Except for the occasional visitor.
Now North Lido Beach (Sarasota), when it was nude, was a lot more fun. Pretty sure they outlawed nekkidness there a long time ago, though.

Never knew Lido Beach was a nude beach at one point... However, I did see photographers snapping pictures of some porn-star who had like basketball boob implants there. I wonder if she could play tennis.
Tennis players don't wear cups anyway. Do clothes offer that much protection from a 100 mph smack?
LOL! North Lido might have been 'unofficially' nude way back in the 80's when I was a teenager. EIther way, it was nude by reputation! You had to be all the way at the north end, though. It was a big thing to get out there and test your gumption/and or get a peek at nekked people. They cracked down on showing crack out there at least 10 years ago, I remember reading about it in the papers.

when i was about 13 or so, my cousin, 2 friends and i would play at the local tennis courts. The lights cut at 10PM exactly and went dark. When it went dark, you had to defend yourselves cause the other side would launch balls as fast as they could. Great fun.
