Hope this hasn't been posted yet. The dude makes YouTube videos of walking around on tall objects close to the edge, often times ending with jumping off from high up into water. It didn't play out so well this time.... as ANYONE can tell you when you do something multiple times...

A daredevil known for his filmed jumps from tall buildings has asked for public monetary support after shattering both his feet when a stunt went disastrously wrong.

Anthony Booth Armer, commonly known by his internet pseudonym 8Booth, leaped from a balcony at the Pacific Edge Hotel, in Laguna Beach, California but the YouTuber hit the concrete before rebounding into the targeted swimming pool.

The 28-year-old is now bed bound in hospital and has casts on both feet and expects to have two surgeries.

He said he will be in hospital for the next four weeks to recover from his serious injuries.

'It's super painful,' Armer said. 'They took the wrapper off yesterday I was in shock almost.'

And now Armer has started a GoFundMe page to raise capital for the medical care his insurance won't cover.

To those of you that know Youtube pretty well...

Looks like he has 80K subs, and a few videos with millions of views (most are 50K-150K). Can anyone calculate how much money he's making from this? My wife and I had seen one of his jumps on Tosh a couple of months back so I told her this morning that the guy had broken his feet on a jump. She said "a guy who makes his living doing that needs to have good health insurance". But can he really make a living? I'm figuring that's <$50K gross revenue, no?
 
How does someone who does this all the time keep his medical insurance? That should be revoked too.

i dunno how it varies with ads or if they can pick them but eevblog has ~400K subscribers and he made $40,756 for 2015-16​
 
It's a shame he didn't land head first. The blow might have knocked some sense into him.

I'm not chipping in for the medical bills for his feet, but I pledge $1 if he ever starts a collection to fund a new brain.
 
Yeah this guys got some balls for sure. Hes and idiot and i wont fund him a dime though. Im surprised he even had health insurance. Maybe it will get cancelled now that they have seen his videos im sure lol

That's just it. He has insurance, they just aren't covering the costs because it was an intention risk that he chose to take. I don't blame them.

Would you insure someone's car for the same price of others from someone that likes to do drag racing?

It varies wildly, and just because you have a popular channel doesn't mean you make anything. You have to sign up for AdSense, and then link it to your youtube account where you make 68% of the revenue. And then people have to actually watch 30 seconds of an ad for it to pay out I guess. It's amazing what information you can find when you type your questions into google:

It's not even worth $2 billion. Why you would trade a functioning body for any amount of money is beyond me. You can always get a real job and make more money, you can't have your feet replaced. Dumbass, I hope no one is stupid enough to give him any money.
