PLAUSIBILITY FACTOR No. 0

Well, I have a difficult issue to deal with.

I kind of sort of maybe promised these really close friends of the family that I'd sort of maybe definitely buy them a Gamecube😱

Tuition was more than i expected this term and Books will be RIDICULOUSLY expensive. 😱

Basically, I was thinking of taking them to the movies and springing the situation on them at such time....

My question is, how many pizzas, ice cream, sodas you name it.... will it take to pull it off?

They are 4,8, and 12......

P.S. I actually CAN buy it for them, but then it'll almost be impossible to get books🙁

Damn, now that I think about it, there is no way out. They will probably bite me or hit me or something...the older one is qutie strong for his age 🙁

If they are going to be pissed and come after you for not buying them a Gamecube then they didn't deserve it in the first place.

Every year I reach out and try to do something nice for people I don't know around the holidays. It seems like you are in a genuine bind here. You sir, have just earned yourself a free Gamecube. PM me with shipping details. 🙂

Get a stack of board games and duct tape them into a cube. Then just say they were mistaken about the whole game system deal, you were getting them a cube of games

:Q You can't be serious?

If you by some miracle of unwordly origins, please do me a favor

Donate that money or sell the gamecube and donate the money to a charity in their name

I have found that "christian's Children's fund" is the best one to give to outright...80% of it goes to the kids😀

<---never told anyone that he gives $24/mth to CCF😱

I'll tell you what. I'll make a one-time donation, and send you the Gamecube. Sound good? 🙂

the gamecube is practically the cost of a textbook now. Just buy them the cube. Pizza and movies would be a quarter of the cost anyways.

I was taking a stab that the OP might be exaggerated for humor since the line "Damn, now that I think about it, there is no way out. They will probably bite me or hit me or something...the older one is qutie strong for his age 🙁 " seemed like humor rather than genuine fear 🙂 Not to dismiss your financial situation and intended generosity, or mojoed's either, for that matter

Sure, why not, as long as you accept that this "might" create a "precedent" here that will cause problems if you get my drift.

Well then it's half the cost of the textbook 😉

That's the sort of problem that can only be fixed with beer.

Luckily, since they are young, it won't take much.

Probably 1,2,and 3 beers will do it.
