Anyone here think that plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons is a good thing?

Unless you are horribly disfigured it is not a very good idea.

It sure is. It's a breakthrough in cosmetic sciences (well years back that is) - but there are advances in this field everyday that make it an engaging experience! If people have they money, and they want to make themselves a lot more attractive (due to certain insecurities) then so be it it's their money, and if they want to tamper w/ life-given "Beauty" then they can go ahead.

However, it gets to a point where if there's too much done in the wrong areas by the wrong people... that's when things get out of hand - which reminds me... for those of you who have seen Heads Over Heels that Austrailian model She was always getting souped-up and she was quite the hot one - somebody who would certainly fall into my league

Not unless your disfigured or very disturbed by a particular body part and surgury will help your self-esteem.

I think its done way too much in this country.
