So i bought a battery recharger and rechargable batteries, and they came in that Plastic Heat seal package, its the worst packaging.. Ther is no way of openign them with your hands, and even when you use a knife or scissors its still a pain in the azz,cut myself twice! Video game controllers and AC/DC Adapters also sport this evil form of packaging!! Anyone share my troubles?

Yes. It is supreme suckage.

Hardly even a chance to keep the package in decent shape in-case of a return.

Its not so much that you can't cut it with a knife, its the damn product is so close to the edge, when you go to cut it open, you risk scratching the "goods"...

Nothing is worse than the stuff they package CD's and DVD's in. To open a typical DVD you first have to remove the outside plastic then peel off 3 different stickers telling you all about their state of the art anti theft protections.

I bought a pair of cheap headphones to workout with a couple of years ago. When cutting the goddamn blister packaging, i cut right through one of the headphone wires.

I somehow forgot to mention that when I RMA'd it. :p

I just cut myself two days ago trying to open an xbox controller in that packaging. Maybe its the stores way of getting back at the hot deals we get? :D

Yeah, and I love it when those theft protection stickers are put on the cardboard DVD cases so that they tear off the cover art when you remove them...:|

they do that stuff on purpose. it's so joe theif can't casually open up a 3 foot tall ps2 controller package and pocket the controller. he has to make a big scene if he wants that sweet sweet controller. it's all anti-theft.
