somehow im just lazy to deal with Android apps. dunno. i feel like having an iOS version is enough for me already even if this one is free, and considering how space is precious on Android I'm not sure how to proceed here

You don't have to install them. It's saved in "Your Apps and Devices." So, "purchase" every free app that you think is worth it.

I can't get the damn thing to download, including over wifi. The amazon market has been a pain in the ass from the beginning but good free apps make it worth it.

What are you using? The amazon market has been one of the few apps that has worked flawlessly for me since I got it.

Finished Adventure Mode over the weekend (I had a long car ride). Sad to say the mobile version is missing many features the desktop version had. Several game modes are missing and there is no Zen Garden either. No I, Zombie, and what minigames are available are dumbed down and don't present any sort of a challenge. I liked the pot-breaking one but the mobile version is too easy. On the PC version, practically the entire screen is filled with pots.

Beat the Adventure Mode, twice. The second time around they default 3 of your plants for you. Also got all the Achievements. It's a pretty easy game once you figure out a few things and get the timing down. Fun things I've done are, beat the game with just one weapon (gatling pea shooter) and beat it with just the free mushrooms.

Those free mushrooms are so overpowered. Way too easy to spam.

Edit: Is it worth using the smaller sun mushrooms?

Yea. The chomper is overpowered too. The only things it can't eat are the giants..

I think so. I always used them because most of the mushrooms were so cheap (or free!) that there wasn't much point in making tons of money. But on the harder levels I can see wanting to use a single row of double sunflowers instead of two rows of sun mushrooms.
